The copper john

At last,  I finally made it out fishing after a few week break.  Today I was out at the lake fishing and this guy named john and I were talking about bluegill fly fishing.  He showed me his custom made rod.  We talked about different flies we use.  We even talked a little bit about trout fishing, which is another area of fly fishing that can be really fun.   We both agreed that bluegill fly fishing is some of the best fly fishing there is.  He said the secret for bluegill fly fishing was the copper john fly.  Wow was he right.  If you could imagine every other cast I was pulling in huge bluegills.
I could not believe it, I said to myself where was this fly all my life.  I now know that I will keeping a few of these on hand at all times and this was the best fishing I have ever had on one fly.  Also I've will share my best fly here.  The best fly I have used overall for bluegill fly fishing has been The adams fly.  It is a top was dry fly but bluegill just love them.  I hope this helps you out a bit.  Until next time happy fishing.
